There are four war memorial plaques in the north aisle at St Barnabas'

The 1914-1918 Memorial bears the names of 90 men 'connected with this parish'

The Memorial was designed and carved by Thomas Rudge
who had made the reredos of the Last Supper some twenty years earlier
'The top portion ... is richly carved with an angel holding in her right hand
the palm of victory, and in the left a wreath of laurels
while underneath are carvings in low relief of the rose, thistle and shamrock'
