CHILDREN & YOUTH

SERVICES

We love having children and young people in church and welcome their active participation in our services whenever we can: reading, leading our intercessions or playing and singing in our band.

There are two services a month specifically aimed at children and young people.

9.30am Family Service - 1st SUNDAY of the month

Our much loved Family Service, on the 1st Sunday of the month at 9.30am, is pitched for those at primary school. It is 45minutes of informal and creative worship with simple craft, catchy songs and tasty refreshments, too.

10.30am all age communion - 3rd sunday

Our All Age Communion Service, on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 10.30am, is designed to include everyone, families with young children, young people and older adults.
The service is interactive and our young people play an active role.

YOUTH (Yrs 7 to 12) & SPLASH (REC to yr 6)

On other Sundays, the services start with everyone in, and children and young people can join an age-appropriate group during the service. Whether doing a bible study and looking at something topical, the material is a mix of discussion, craft and games.

CRECHE

We also have a creche corner inside the church with toys and stories so that parents can stay in the service whilst the children discover those first bible stories.

AFTERSCHOOL CLUB

Earth Keepers is an exciting new club for children in Years 3 to 6, created as part of our commitment as an Eco Church. Through fun, hands-on activities, children will explore the wonder of the natural world, learn about local wildlife, and discover how to care for the environment. From bug hunts and nature crafts to recycling challenges and eco-friendly projects, Earth Keepers will inspire the next generation to love and protect God’s creation.
Thursdays, 4pm-5.15pm. EMAIL vicar@stbcc.co.uk to find out more and book a space.
