GIVING

So much of what we do, would not be possible without your generosity. It is your regular giving and other donations that help support all we do together.

THE 125 LEGACY FUND

St Barnabas Church was consecrated in 1898 which means that in 2023 it was our 125th anniversary. We wanted to celebrate by undertaking projects that would leave a lasting legacy to our building. In 2023 we were awarded the A Rocha Bronze award and in 2024 the Silver. The plan is to undertake projects in line with our eco church stance.

In 2024, we completed the LED lighting in the church which not only makes it more energy efficient but contributes to highlight the beautiful architectural features of St Barnabas.

In 2025 we aim to make use of the large space available on the roof to install solar panels, significantly reducing our carbon emissions and contributing to production of green energy.

In parallel, we plan to refurbish the toilets, not only to provide a clean and restored space but also to ensure it is eco efficient, in terms of lighting, water and towels use.
